Mission, Vision and Values

We want to acknowledge that Jessica's House Hospice is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinabewaki, Attiwonderonk (neutral) and Mississauga Nations.

We reflect on the injustices that these peoples have faced and vow to move forward by treating everyone equitably. We acknowledge the continued stewardship of the land and water by First Peoples and take responsibility as a public institution and treaty people to renew our relationships with First Nation, Métis, and Inuit people through reconciliation, community service, and respect. We understand that we have a lot to learn about Indigenous topics and will do our best to educate ourselves further.

Jessica's House Hospice is actively working to create a respectful, fair, and inclusive environment that mirrors and honors the diversity of the community we serve. We embrace and celebrate the diversity of individuals who enter our doors and engage with the services we offer. The strength of our community is enhanced by the variety of people within it, and we are dedicated to showcasing that everyone's dignity, beliefs, and identity are treated with respect.
